Another exciting news for HKITA as Ryan Ho has been accepted officially to University of Chicago through HKITA College Preparation program. Ryan, who also took part at last year’s showcase with coach Benny Lin, could not be happier with the news. U of Chicago is one of the best universities in the world (currently ranked No 7 in the world) and boasts 85 Noble Prize winners. Ryan, however is still waiting for news from a few other schools, including Columbia and Princeton, before making his final decision. This year alone U of Chicago received over 20,000 applicants.

This year has been a great year for HKITA College Preparation program as Ryan got accepted into U of Chicago, Kenji into Cornell U and Sher Pui Wing receiving full scholarship offer from Seton Hall U and Lorraine Cheung with possibilities of scholarship offer.

HKITA will continue to spend a lot of effort, energy and resources to maintain and improve our relationships with head coaches of top US universities in order for our younger players to follow the footsteps Ryan, Kenji and Sher Pui Wing.

On another note, U of Chicago head coach will be visiting HKITA exclusively in the end of April. Coach Perry will run coaching clinics for HKITA players and is available for private training. Coach Perry will also be observing and assessing HKITA players for possible future recruitments.
